American (b. 1958)
Originally an Oklahoma native, Tim Tyler spent much of his youth in the Western part of the United States. He received his first commission at the age of fourteen and soon after, his work was being displayed in Scottsdale Galleries. From there, Tim began his career as a full time artist. His work slowly shifted from still lifes and landscapes to more figurative work as he gained more exposure and influence. His work has been exhibited in over one hundred galleries and he has received awards and gained recognition from various art magazines throughout his career.
Tim has taught workshops across the United States as well as summer workshops in Europe. He now resides in Arkansas near Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art.
