JOSEPH PICCILLO
American (1941-2022)
Piccillo held his first solo exhibition at the Krasner Gallery in 1977 and his popularity began to spread. His amazing work featuring dancers, horses, and divers has won him numerous awards and fellowships including the National Endowment of the Arts in 1979.
His work belongs to many notable museums and collections including: the Museum of Modern Art, New York; the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; the Art Institute of Chicago; and the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts, Little Rock.
