DIANE WILLIAMS

American (1940-2015)

Diane Williams was born in Nashville, Arkansas and was a woman of many talents from the beginning. An exceptional pianist and musical composer, Williams painted music with her palette. It is the music of the rivers and streams found in Arkansas. Williams had a cabin near the Caddo River and often retreated into solitude with her two dogs, Annie and Maxine, to take in the rich surroundings of the mountains. Many private and corporate collectors agree that her work is as joyful to behold as actually being there. Collectors of note include Acxiom Corporation, Morgan Stanley, The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and St. Vincent’s Health Care.
